Factory-made, cement based dry premix products for fixing tiles and plastering walls, inside and outside. Each bag is mixed on site with clean water only.

CTA

Ceramic Tile Adhesive

A cement based thin bed tile adhesive for fixing ceramic tiles on walls and floors, for internal and external applications.

CTA is suitable for backgrounds such as cement plasters, renders, floor screeds and concrete. The background and tile must be clean, free from dust, deposits, sinter skin, form work oil and other contamination which may affect adhesion.

Mixing and application

CTA, supplied in 25 kg bags, must be mixed with potable water only – 6.25 litres per 25 kg bag (25% by weight). Use a serrated trowel to control the thickness, and do not spread more than 1 m² at a time.

UTA

Universal Tile Adhesive

A dry premix, waterproof, cement based tile adhesive for thin bed fixing of ceramic, granite, marble and other tiles on walls and floors.

Long open time and excellent workability ensure the fixing of even heavy tiles.

UTA is a thin bed mortar suitable for backgrounds such as Portland cement based renders, floor screeds, concrete and gypsum boards. The background must be clean and free of dust, deposits, sinter skin, form work oil and other contamination which may affect adhesion. Wetting of the background is essential.

GPCP

General Purpose Cement Plaster

A dry premix cement plaster and render for internal and external use – an ideal substrate for paint, wallpaper or decorative plasters.

Fair faced concrete backgrounds should be thoroughly cleaned to remove any dust and loose particles. The suction of both fair faced concrete and block work should be neutralised; for fair faced concrete, spray a coat of CEMTEC Bonding Rush Coat before applying GPCP.
